Environmental Monitoring
Environmental DNA (eDNA) in aquatic and terrestrial environments can be monitored to detect and help prevent the spread of human and veterinary pathogens and invasive species and monitor overall changes to the environment that impact the biome. The Tamarack system allows operation in the field to direct further testing without waiting for results from a central lab. The simplicity of operation enables use by field scientists, citizen scientists and law enforcement with minimal training. The ease of data sharing allows consolidation of multiple data streams to help develop a clearer picture of complex environments.
Human Diagnostics Tools
Diseases are often best detected and monitored in settings away from central labs. Point of care testing in the clinic, in the home, or in mobile screening settings can often allow early detection, hasten care and improve outcomes. The Tamarack system is especially suited to screening programs based on its rapid turn around, affordability, ease of use, and simplified reporting. Tamarack does not provide complete, FDA-cleared tests, but we can provide the platform for your test development.
Agricultural Testing
Disease outbreaks can devastate live stock, aquaculture and crop operations. Early detection is the key to biosecurity measures that prevent the spread of pathogens. The Tamarack system provides a platform for tests that allow early detection before pathogens are brought onto the farm.
